Episode 2 Preview

Hello comic art fans everywhere! Simon Beigh here with a sneak preview of this month's podcast which Julius and I are working feverishly on to be released on the 1st July 2014.

As ever, there will be bad jokes and general rambling, but in amongst that there may well be some interesting items for your listening pleasure.

As ever, we will have our regular features like The News and eBayWatch, but this month I can announce we have our first Collector's Corner interview. Jay and I are talking to one of our best friends in the world of comic art collecting and all round top bloke, Mr.....

....well - let's keep that as a surprise, shall we? :-)

Very well - a sneak teaser peak at one of the items our guest will be chatting about:

I'm not a liberty to say whether out guest owns this page, or would like to own it - you'll just have to listen on the 1st July to find out!

We will also have more thoughts and insights from a top creator, although this month our intended guest had to pull out due to unforeseen circumstances. Real shame, that, but Jay and I will pull something out of the bag for you - don't worry about that!

Episode 001 Due Soon!

Julius and I have just finished an interview with a legendary comic creator for our first full episode of the Inky Fingers podcast. I'm not saying who it is right now, you'll just have to wait and see! But let me assure you it will be worth tuning in for!

We have a couple of other articles in the can as well, and I'm busy editing the first episode at the moment (well, not at the moment, because I'm writing this blog!).

What I can tell you is we are going to release two half-hour episodes on the 1st June. After some feedback we had, we think this will suit people who don't want to listen to a whole hour in one go - as well as for those who do (those that do want to listen to the full hour can just roll straight on from the first part to the second part).

Anyway, back to editing... Please check back on the 1st June to see if I hit my deadline...

Welcome to Inky Fingers!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the official blog site for the Inky Fingers Podcast. The podcast all about the world of Comic Art Collecting... 'The world of what..?' you may ask... Well, you may not know this, but there is a small, but thriving community of comic book fans who like to collect the original art from the comics they like to read. And this podcast is all about that passion.

It will be hosted by myself, Simon Beigh, and my good friend Julius Howe. We hope to have the introductory episode up on iTunes and on this blog very soon. We've recorded it, it's in the can (as it were), but it needs a few tweaks before releasing. So we hope to get those done over the next few days.
